The blog continues...

After a lengthy break from blogging, I've decided to return to the daily ritual. In my absence from the blogosphere, I have come to understand and appreciate the danger of having thoughts roaming free inside my mind; an essay, too, is of no use to anyone if it's simply going to sit on your laptop, unread by anyone but its author. That isn't to say that as a blogger you cannot have free, unexpressed thoughts, but it is nice to have a place in which to express them. But breaks are good, nonetheless. Here we go.
